Where can I use a plaster corbel?

Corbels and brackets can go under beams, be used as shelves, fitted in doorways or other areas, or added to archways. See the full corbel range.

How do the adjustable width corbels work?

CL513 and CL514 are made to the width you choose. The width you pick is the overall width, including the top shelf that overhangs the body on each side. CL514 is 300mm (12in) high and 100mm (4in) deep, with a 50mm overhang each side, and can be made up to 740mm wide. CL513 is 273mm high and 100mm deep, with a 30mm overhang each side, and can be made up to 600mm wide. On CL514 the overhang can be reduced by leaving off the top bar. Contact us for details.

Can you make a corbel to my size or design?

Yes. We can produce a custom mould, fluted or plain. Call us on 01204 693900 with your measurements.

Which corbels can I use with an archway?

The Half Section Plaster Archway To Corbels includes two corbels in the price. Not every corbel can be used, because of the wall thickness and the inside of the arch, so check with us before choosing.

What styles of corbel do you make?

Acanthus leaf and scroll designs (such as B3, B7, B8, B9, B10 and CL506), fluted corbels (B2, B2A and B12), faces including the lion's face B1 and the lady's heads B4 and B11, and plainer modern shapes such as B14 and CL512.
