Frequently asked questions

Do your panel mouldings have matching corners?

Many do. Corners share the moulding's code number, so P1 pairs with corners PC1 and POC1, P4 with PC4 and POC4, and so on. Each listing names its matching corners, and you'll find them all in our panel moulding corners.

How long is each length, and is there a minimum order?

Most panel mouldings come in 1.5m (5ft) lengths, so check the listing. The minimum order is 3 pieces of each design, except Egg & Dart P1, which has a minimum of 8.

What sizes are the panel mouldings?

They range from slim runs about 27mm wide, such as P7 and P11, up to 62mm wide for Rose Bud P15. Each listing gives the width and depth in mm. Browse them all in panel mouldings.

There's no corner for the moulding I want. What can I do?

Call us on 01204 693900. Some designs can take a different corner. For example, Acanthus Flower P10 is used with corner POC10, or with a plain corner if you contact us about a new mould.

What adhesive do I use to fix panel mouldings?

Our fixing and filling adhesives include Herculite Fibrefix, made for fixing fibre reinforced plasterwork, and Gyproc Coving Adhesive. Both can also be used to fill joints and mitres.

Can I paint plaster panel mouldings?

Yes. Make sure the plaster is fully dry and clean, seal it with a primer or a mist coat (watered-down paint), then finish with a water-based paint. A fine brush helps on detailed patterns.
