Baby niche, suitable for most areas in the home including bathrooms, this item can be fitted into a single brick thickness Wall ie: 4" (100mm) or studded wall without any other prior installation work needed, the measurements given are: overall measurements, ie: your hole or template for the wall should be marked out to be 15mm smaller to allow for this.

Overall height: 310mm width: 183mm wall recess depth needed: 100mm base dimensions not included.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to cut into my wall?

Not always. The corner niches (Etna N404C and Burleigh N405C) fit into a corner without cutting the wall, and the Dallia niche N403 is flush mounted. The others are recessed into the wall.

What wall depth do I need for a recessed niche?

As a guide: Baby N401 needs a 100mm recess and fits a single brick (4in) or stud wall. Etna N404 needs 110mm and fits a 4in to 4.5in wall. Burleigh N405 needs around 140mm to 152mm. Post N406 fits a 180mm (7in) wall. Check the listing for the exact figures.

How big should I cut the hole?

The sizes on each listing are overall measurements, so mark your hole or template out smaller. For the Baby niche N401, mark it 15mm smaller. Call us if you're unsure for other designs.

Can I put a light in a niche?

Several of our niches have the option of a light in the base, including the Etna, Burleigh and Post niches. Fit it in line with building regulations.
